The lodge blends beautifully into its surroundings — simple, natural, and thoughtfully designed. My room reflects that perfectly: warm wood, soft natural light, and an open feeling that makes it part of the jungle rather than separate from it.
One of the most special aspects of La Kukula is the way you're treated. The staff are warm, respectful, and quietly attentive. What I appreciate most is the sense of space they give you. If you need something, they help with genuine kindness; otherwise, they let you settle into the peace of the jungle at your own pace.

Tu alrededor , vi monos , perezosos , agoutis …. Las instalaciones limpias y bien cuidadas . Pero , sobre todo , maravillosa la atención de Sonia y Pepo . Encantadores y , en mi caso , que vine sin ninguna excursión planeada me ayudaron muchísimo a planear mi estancia y todo salió perfecto . El
Desayuno es variado con varios platos a elegir y abundante , mención especial a la mermelada de plátano …. Una delicia
La zona está muy bien , Preciosa y tranquila cerca de todo .

Unfassbar schöne Anlage,mitten im Dschungel und in der Nähe des Meeres. Hier haben die Betreiber and Gastgeber, das sehr nette Ehepaar aus Barcelona ein Konzept mit Herz und toller Architektur verwirklicht. Ich war begeistert. Sehr, sehr, sehr zu empfehlen!!!

This is my 3rd time staying with La Kukula and each time just gets better and better. The owners are so kind and helpful that it makes you feel like you are part of a family.
The surroundings are stunning and peaceful and a must for any serious nature lover. The symphony of the rainforest it 24/7 and the various creatures you will see is exceptional.
It is located far enough outside of the main towns to feel extremely private and is only a short walk away from Playa Chiquita. The breakfast included is always amazing.
